Emergency and Critical Care Specialist

Katie Peterson, DVMDr. Katie Peterson has been with Pet Poison Helpline (PPH) since 2009. She received her BS degree and her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota. She then completed further training with an emergency and critical care internship at the Animal Emergency Center in Glendale, WI, and an emergency critical care internship at University of Minnesota. Following this, she completed a residency in emergency and critical care at University of Minnesota. Her primary interests are in emergency triage and stabilization. Dr. Peterson and her husband live in the Duluth, MN area and share a home with 2 black labs and 4 cats.
