Dr. Joy Bronzino joined the Pet Poison Helpline® in 2022 after developing an interest in toxicology while working as a small animal emergency and critical care veterinarian. She received her BS in Biology from St. Joseph’s college where she played volleyball and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University. Following veterinary school completion in 2013, Dr. Bronzino moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and has practiced in multiple small animal hospitals around the triangle area. When not practicing veterinary medicine, Joy enjoys playing beach doubles volleyball and spending time with her husband and two rescue dogs Linda and Bentley.
