  • Tachycardia
  • Tremors
  • Seizures
  • Respiratory depression
  • Death (rarely)

This plant contains tropane alkaloids – atropine, hyoscyamine, scopolamine.  All parts of the plant are toxic.  This plant should not be confused with Datura, which can also be called Angel’s trumpet.
