Toxicity to pets
Miniature Croton causes irritation where contacted. If chewed/ swallowed expect gastrointestinal signs (e.g., drooling, vomiting, diarrhea). Eye exposure to the clear sap w/in the leaf/ stem structure results in marked ocular pain and redness. Skin contact may cause discomfort and minor inflammation.
