Toxicity to pets
Cyanoacrylate glues, commonly called super glue, typically come in small tubes or small bottles with a liquid to liquigel consistency. These are not expanding glues and do not cause any toxicity risk though can be very damaging the surface of the eye. If super glue does get in your pet(s) eye, an immediate veterinary exam is necessary.
Removal from the skin and hair can be performed at home using warm, soapy water while gently rolling the glue with your fingers. Some glue can be allowed to wear off over time. It is important o never apply an adhesive remover to your pet’s skin.
