Toxicity to pets
Ingestion of psychoactive marijuana by companion animals leads to gastrointestinal distress, neurological signs (e.g., stumbling gait, dazed or aggressive mental status, sudden flinching), and uncontrolled urination. Severe signs including collapse, seizure, and difficulty breathing may also occur. Inhalation of psychoactive marijuana smoke can result in pet poisoning. There is no safe dose of psychoactive marijuana for companion animals.
