Consulting Veterinarian, Clinical Toxicology

Dr. Susan Holland joined Pet Poison Helpline® (PPH) in 2016. She received a BS in Agriculture and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. After graduation Dr. Holland worked for five years in equine/small animal practice followed by twenty-five years of full-time employment in small animal emergency medicine and surgery. In 2021, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (ABT). Dr. Holland lives in coastal North Carolina with her husband.
