Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Chris Schatz joined Pet Poison Helpline® in 2025, complementing an already diverse veterinary career that has included small-animal general practice, emergency medicine, teaching, and medical writing. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, he resides in Madison and enjoys hiking, bicycling, kayaking, music, and reading in his spare time.
