Associate Veterinarian

I am a St. Louis, Missouri native who graduated from the University of Missouri CVM in 2012. After graduation, I moved to Northern Virginia and worked in small animal general practice and small animal emergency medicine. I also worked as an online instructor for the local veterinary technician program and in telemedicine prior to joining SCI. Having used Pet Poison Helpline as a practicing clinician, I was aware of this service and always thought it would be the neatest job to have. So when an opportunity to join SCI presented itself, I took it!

I joined SCI in November 2025 as a PPH veterinarian. I love the challenge and diversity in the cases we treat, as well as the opportunity to help clinicians, pet owners, and their animals in a unique setting. Being able to work remotely is a huge bonus as well. One of my favorite things about SCI is their focus on culture. Life is too short to not love what you do, and I can honestly say that everyone who works here at SCI appears genuinely happy to be here!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and five children and our assortment of animals.  I am a big homebody and love nothing more than a quiet evening snuggling on the couch with my family. I am an avid horseback rider and when I have the time, I enjoy competing in jumpers and three day eventing.  We also always have the odd assortment of dogs, cats, rats, fish, snakes, and other critters at our home at any given time. It is a busy and often chaotic life but I love it!
