Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Emily Reith has been a staff veterinarian at Pet Poison Helpline® (PPH) since 2020. She obtained BAs in chemistry and physics from Colby College in Waterville, Maine followed by an MS in chemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder. After teaching high school and college chemistry for 8 years she earned her DVM degree at Colorado State University.  Following veterinary school, Dr. Reith completed an internship in small animal emergency medicine and surgery and continued to work in emergency medicine for several years prior to a transition to small animal general practice.  She lives in Colorado where she keeps busy with outdoor activities, quilting and sewing, raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, and trying to keep up with her pet Labrador.
