Associate Veterinarian, Clinical Toxicology

Dr. Erica Howard has been with Pet Poison Helpline® and Safety Call International since August of 2020. She received her BS in Biology from McKendree University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. After graduation, Dr. Howard worked in mixed animal practices with a focus on small animal medicine. Most recently, she was Chief Of Staff at a small animal general practice. Dr. Howard lives in Southern Illinois and spends her free time with her husband and 4 dogs. She loves reading, St. Louis Blues hockey, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, Harry Potter, Star Wars, swimming and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
