Leo Sioris, PharmD, CEO

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Leo Sioris is the CEO and co-founder of SafetyCall International. He also co-founded and served as Vice President of the PROSAR International Poison Center and was co-founder and former Director of the Minnesota Regional Poison Center and Hazard Information Services. He is a full Professor in the Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology at the College of Pharmacy at University of Minnesota. He is Course Director of Clinical Toxicology and preceptor of numerous residents and fellows in clinical toxicology. Dr. Sioris received a BS in Pharmacy with Distinction from the University of Minnesota in 1975 and his Doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy from Minnesota in 1977. He completed post-graduate training in Clinical Toxicology with the Hennepin Poison Center and the Department of Emergency Medicine, Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) and the Minneapolis Medical Research Foundation. Dr. Sioris has presented numerous scientific abstracts and invited presentations, as well as published numerous scientific articles, acted as a peer reviewer, and has been the recipient of numerous grants and contracts. His research interests include clinical toxicology, forensic toxicology, caustics, epidemiology of household and occupational exposures, as well as modeling of the delivery of poison center, post-market surveillance and regulatory reporting and product stewardship services to industry.
