Toxicity to pets
Lantana contains the toxins lantadene A & B. Ingestion by pets commonly leads to gastrointestinal distress with vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. Large ingestions by livestock results in liver injury and photosensitivity with blistering of skin.
