Wisteria contain toxic compounds throughout the plant and concentrated in the seeds. Ingestion of wisteria seeds – found in pea-like pods – can result in gastrointestinal distress (e.g., severe vomiting, diarrhea), dehydration, weakness and collapse in companion animals.
